Does anyone use a foam roller?

Recommended Posts

Hi I am looking at getting a foam roller they are meant to be really good for helping your muscles especially on your back..

Does anyone on here use one can you recommend any? and has it worked for you ?

Yes but for lower half exercises. Groins, glutes, quads, calf.

Very effective.

My roller is smooth but I’m considering getting a nobbly one too.

They are OK, but can be messy if overloaded.

I have one, with 'nobbles'. Just a £10 one off Amazon, I find it works ok, I just use it to help with my back ache. Mostly on my hip flexors and glute. Nowhere near as good as a physio massage though.

Yes I use one, they're quite good as an extra, but not as good as a proper massage.
