Snooker147 Posted December 1, 2017 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Hi slightly random question I always forget to ask the driver but has anyone ever heard that 2 second alarm on the bus sometimes it does it instead on the usual bell sound when you press anyone know what it is ? apelike Posted December 1, 2017 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Its probably the wheelchair alarm so the driver knows that someone in the wheelchair point wants to get off. Yeah, if you look around the wheelchair bit and the front seats, you will see some blue coloured bell buttons instead of the normal ones, these are the ones that make the different noise.. As said above, so the driver knows if someones getting off who may need additional assistance etc It goes without saying that the blue button should not be pressed if assistance is not required. Pressing it elevates the driver to an enhanced state of readiness, and most drivers can only cope with that maybe 3 or 4 times in a shift.
