Cyclone Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Indeed, the people cutting down these trees are not the people who have decided to cut them down, let them get on with it and earn a living and take your protest through the correct channels. How is it not correct to protest and stop the work? It's not causing any specific hardship to the people who sit around in the vans being paid is it, so the argument seems like one proposed simply so that Amey can get their way. I don't think anyone here has suggested or supported that. Nor have I read about it happening. Has it? Blocking them from doing their job doesn't cause them any hardship does it. Has there been any verbal or physical assault whatsoever towards Amey staff? No. And if there was, Amey would have those people charged immediately.
