2nd EU Referendum Call by Lib Dems.

Recommended Posts

You missed out the bit about Brexit causing a Third World War. :help:

One of the journalists who revealed the role of Russian intervention in the Trump/Brexit/Catalan votes said to look out for attempts to distract from the links between vote leave, brietbart, cambridge analytica, fascists, and Russian money. That very same day a paper ran a headline "Britain must deal with North Korea". Well lets just say WWIII is much more likely than it's ever been.

You're not seeing straight. We had a vote to see if the UK electorate wanted to Leave or Remain in the EU. The fact is Leave won the referendum because the democratic people made that decision for better or worse.

That's just not true... in any way. People didn't vote for worse anything. If things get worse, people will be angry and they will blame the politicians; Labour and Tory that caused it.

The people voted on the basis of promises made by the leave campaign. None of the leave promises have been delivered. People deserve to be able to hold Boris, Gove, Davis, Rees-Mogg et al to account for their promises.

I'd be quite satisfied with the kind of brexit we were promised, but I never believed it was possible. As it turns out, it's not, and people should be able to change their minds about something which will seriously damage them and their country.

JJ Patrick, the evening standard.

Is this the same 'Evening Standard' which is being edited by the architect of 'Project Fear', the former Chancellor George Osbourne?

This man has proved himself incompetent, and just plain wrong, on so many, many things!

People voted to Leave the EU and nothing else. You are confusing promises with opinions. You also have no proof on the basis individuals decided which way to vote. The only promise regarding the EU referendum was made by David Cameron in which he promised to hold a EU referendum, if his party won the 2015 General Election. The people you mention had no authority to promise anything. It is people with your mindset, who will not accept or respect the democratic referendum result, who are the problem and doing the UK the most harm.

but then all you leaver types haven't accepted the result of the first referendum in the 70s and campaigned to change it for 40 years.

you neither accepted not respected that result but you were allowed to carry on and develop your campaign to leave because that was the democratic thing to do. it's you lot who want to stop us from doing exactly the same as you did. the undemocratic ones here are the leave side.

I voted to Remain in the EU, but respect and accept the democratic result delivered by the people. You really need to grow up.
