Harrystottle
Most public sector organisations (well, the one I used to work for anyway) have IT software that prevents their employees accessing porn, or at the least audit trails that would deter most from daring to look. Yet Parliament doesn't? That's amazing. Plus the fact that our beloved MP's approach to IT security involves sharing their passwords with all and sundry...?!?! Naive
.........steady on!.....that could mean up to half the public sector having to go:hihi: Do you have any evidence for that claim? Or are you just making stuff up?

The allegation occurred quite a few years ago. Perhaps things have changed since then. Damain Green is fool for telling a lie, which was always going to be found out. Damain Green is fool for telling a lie, which was always going to be found out. There's the heart of it. Whether he viewed porn in the dim and distant or not is by the bye. His trouble stems from denying knowledge when he'd had two points of communication with the police in the dim and distant, and he made those denials when he was a minister, so he's an idiot and he's got to go with his tail between his legs. The only thing that might be to his credit is if he's hung on knowing that he'll have to go, so that the PM can get Brexit to stage 2 without too many distractions. This farce would have been intolerable two weeks ago, so good timing all round on behalf of UK PLC and us all.

ENG601PM
He made his own mountain out of a mole hill. He most certainly did and the more I think about it the more it looks like he waited through loyalty to fall on his sword. If so, and putting aside partisan political issues, he has done the nation a final good service.

Perhaps you’re overthinking the situation and the more I think about it the more it looks like you’re dressing this up as an honourable act of party loyalty. Since I prefer it when the Tory party fight each other like rats in a sack, I’d have had more respect for Damian ( Damian! . . . the antichrist from The Omen !!! ) if he’d hung on to job for dear life and brought the rest of the Tory party crashing down with him. Ah well, there goes my early Christmas present
taxman
Despite being effectively sacked he's still entitled to a ministerial payoff of around £17,000.
Naive
Interesting that nobody on here is remotely interested in his pursuit of Kate Maltby. That’s been neatly brushed under the carpet, despite the fact that Green is old enough to be her grandfather.
