At least, this was the case last time I bought it (several years ago now) Presumably they can if they wish charge more for HGVs though, and we could do the same. ENG601PM Posted December 26, 2017 Share Posted December 26, 2017 I haven't seen any mention of it being applied to cars but if it's a choice between a few five hundred quids for VED for each of my cars to sit in the garage most of the time , or 10p a mile, I'll take the pay per mile charge every time.
