Chez2
You can put postcodes or area names in to Trip Advisor to find places to visit. It will also come up with other suggestions not far away from your chosen postcode. The website go4awalk.com may be of help too: http://www.go4awalk.com/ Edited January 1, 2018 by Chez2
max
Hmmm misssed out S18.... Probably because S18 is in Derbyshire and this is a Sheffield forum.
tinfoilhat
Probably because S18 is in Derbyshire and this is a Sheffield forum. Neither is s21 or s26 but they made the list.
Jeffrey Shaw
Oddly, some of S12 is in Ford and Ridgeway, both entirely outside SY!
Nig30
S36 is arguably mainly in Barnsley.

stormvixen
I would suggest splitting some of the larger postcodes up - certainly S8 (which I've lived in for over twenty years now collectively) as not only are there a lot of things to see/do, it's also huge, so your two to four hour trip would never fit multiple things in! There was also a couple of students who last year visited all the parks in Sheffield which was really interesting reading (they did a post about each one on a twitter feed) - we have a lot of parks! Might also be worth considering when the weather improves some? also, what things do you class as interesting? Spaces, architecture? Museums? To do things? Quirky shops? etc.. etc... might help with suggestions for you.
