Neither does letting them wonder the streets carrying knives :rolleyes: mention of legalising cannabis is a daft idea. A couple of joints affect the brain to the same degree as a pint of beer and then these idiots get behind a wheel and kill or maim someone. So what? It's illegal to drive under the influence, whether it's drink or drugs. The police have kit to detect offenders at the roadside and regularly enforce both. It's a pretty sad person who needs drugs to find life interesting. While behind bars the scum cannot stab, shoot, rob or commit any of the other crimes they are in jail for. Put an end to giving jail time just for it to be halved for "good behaviour".
