tinfoilhat
NASA the Department that seemingly can take you up there - is claiming a 3inch rise since 1992. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?feature=4700 Others are claiming a lot more. A two metre rise is also claimed to be possible by 2100. So what is it. No rise,a small rise or two metres by 2100? Everton F.C do not seem at all concerned investing hundreds of millions in to their new Stadium situated on the banks of the Mersey. Obviously they are not buying in to the claims. As you claim the earth is flat, surely your position would be that sea levels are falling as all the water is running off the edge.

We've already established what the measurements indicate is average global sea level rise. What is the purpose of posting it again? You claimed that the sea level at Swan River had increased by 8 inches in the last 50 years. I provided the nearest tidal gauge data, which showed that that claim does not match the figures in the slightest. You keep saying 'others'. Who are these others? MAC33
If you and others are so adamant that the sea is rising, then how come Everton F.C don't seem the least bit concerned with building their stadium on the banks of the Mersey? The 500 million pound stadium has a decent funding from the Govt does it not? Their claims - I take with a grain of salt.

So you don't understand the concept of sea defences, flood defences - anything like that?

It has been reported that if anything goes wrong, the council are the owners, so they will foot the bill. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/mar/23/everton-waterfront-bramley-moore-dock-merseyside-stadium https://www.constructionnews.co.uk/projects/everton-fc-lines-up-deal-for-300m-new-stadium/10018525.article It would be on the same level as many other buildings, but they could easily raise it a foot or two. phil752
just watched a program where they have found a sea fossil, on the south coast, which is thirty feet above the beach. If this is the case surely water has risen and declined in past years without the help of modern intervention.
