El Cid
Simply input your postcode. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-42566393 If you work in a busy area, perhaps that might be more polluted?
tinfoilhat
If you work in a busy area, perhaps that might be more polluted? Valid point. But even then my workshop is 250 yards away from the M1 is only a 2. The postcode generally straddles the motorway to the best of my knowledge. geared
Valid point. But even then my workshop is 250 yards away from the M1 is only a 2. The postcode generally straddles the motorway to the best of my knowledge. From looking at their site you might need to take the results on an exact position with a pinch of salt. You can view the data as a map here Combining data from satellites and its own air quality monitoring sensors together with open source data Pollution monitoring via satellite data is now available, but the one satellite that can do it literally has only just gone into space, so they own't have any data from that. It may just be this group doesn't have any air quality instruments near you, so their software compiles a best guess based on the model it uses. alchemist
Hmm, I live next Meadowhell and I only warrant a 1!!! Results are a bit suspect!!!
geared
Hmm, I live next Meadowhell and I only warrant a 1!!! Results are a bit suspect!!! Tinsley/Darnall don't look too bad on the map either, and I'm pretty sure pollution levels there were described as very high.
Jeffrey Shaw
Mines coming up as 1.... Mines are often a pollution risk, though.

alchemist
If areas such as Tinsley and Meadowhall only come up as 1 just how bad is it to be a 6?? Visibility at 2 inches and one breath kills??
