SnailyBoy
Charlotte Wood one of the best known walk on girls has thanked the 15,000 people who have signed already. She is angry that her rights have been taken away, and rightly so.For those saying that they will not have a problem with income she has stated that the darts make up sixty percent of her income. How many are there on this forum that can afford a sixty percent pay cut. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-42851554 I don't understand, what 'rights' have been taken away? Times change, ENG. Things move on. All of you lot who are bemoaning the extinction of the dolly bird need to move with the times. You are beginning to sound like all those people who blame Thatcher for closing the coal mines. Maybe dolly birds, like coal, belong to yesterday. Is that the same empowering of women that certain members of this forum bang on about when talking about banning the hijab etc
Mister Gee
I don't remember seeing walk-on models in the 70's and 80!s when you could hardly see the dartboard through the fag smoke and most of the players were Brahms and Liszt.
Dimple
Is that the same empowering of women that certain members of this forum bang on about when talking about banning the hijab etc The hijab is different. Some Women just think they want to wear it this is down to years of brutal indoctrination from an early age.

Strangely defensive. Yes, I read the link. You said in your earlier post 'She is angry that her rights have been taken away, and rightly so'. So what rights do you think have been taken away from her? Guest
Strangely defensive. Yes, I read the link. You said in your earlier post 'She is angry that her rights have been taken away, and rightly so'. So what rights do you think have been taken away from her? "Rights being taken away from her" is probably the wrong way of putting it. Her job has been abolished due to political correctness. Times change, ENG. Things move on. Says who, you?? were the women in question consulted on all this?...nah didn't think so. I'd say there is a time and a place for glamour girls on display and the darts and boxing, even some motorsport, is it; its generally the right type of crowd.
