So why in this case is it different? For the same reason. The work has not been taken away from them via business efficiencies or technological advances - but by pressure from one group holding particular views on another. I’m not passing comment on who’s right or wrong here by the way. But someone becoming redundant because of PC’s is different to saying we are not employing you as a typist because we don’t agree women should do what you are doing.
