boyfriday
Charlotte Wood one of the best known walk on girls has thanked the 15,000 people who have signed already. She is angry that her rights have been taken away, and rightly so.For those saying that they will not have a problem with income she has stated that the darts make up sixty percent of her income. How many are there on this forum that can afford a sixty percent pay cut. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-42851554 Charlotte is merely a victim of social change, just as we all are. Fads, fashions, likes, dislikes change over time and an adaptable workforce changes to accommodate it. Imagine what happened to the poor worker who stitched the top button on hi-waisters or the employer who shoved children up chimneys? I've little sympathy for Charlotte, she made a living from a superfluous connection to a sport she played little part in, she sounds an industrious sort she'll find something else to do, the time has come when society has discovered the empress is wearing no clothes.. literally. ---------- Post added 03-02-2018 at 12:38 ---------- I can't believe they stopped it and the grid girls are will no longer be used its madness its all part of it the girls enjoy it no one is forcing them to do it they choose to do it they're models its what they do . Jesus, what do you find so essential in your enjoyment of a sport that requires the sight of a woman's tits? That's madness. Your mother had two, sorry in fact she had three, she grew a pair and spawned another!

Naive
Total red herring. You don’t see many of those, these days, either.

Guest
How come Alan? I could see how they wouldn't be appropriate at a mixed/womens darts tornament, but I'd say the majority of people, including women, don't have a problem with these "walk on girls" at the darts and also F1 where the participants are men. Sending children up chimneys is a total red herring argument as most would be happy for that to be banished to history.
