geared
True; but this does happen annually. Didn't you notice it last year? Depends on the weather obviously, when it's bright and clear you do notice how much lighter it is in the evenings. When it's crappy you might not properly notice it till the clocks change
horribleblob
Snowdrops and daffs are out over this way already! The snowdrops in my garden were blooming on Christmas Day and are still at it, although the daffs are just showing short green shoots so far. I agree with the OP: roll on spring! davyboy
Was there really any call for that? And from a moderator, at that? It was meant as a slightly uplifting observation and comment, that was all. But hey, if all you want is doom and gloom/bikes being nicked/health and benefit problems on the forum, so be it. Bye to you. oooh....stroppeeee:D

tzijlstra
This week is always great because the commute switches back from driving in the dark to driving in sunrise/set both ways. Also noticing a lot more bird activity all of a sudden - as I park up at work the chorus of blackbirds, robins and other feathered friends in the trees is a wonderful start to the day!
