Though in fairness, the Mail has published research which claimed that Conservatives are less intelligent that liberals (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2095549/Right-wingers-intelligent-left-wingers-says-controversial-study--conservative-politics-lead-people-racist.html) Anyway back to the proposition that Conservatives are less attractive than liberals - although the links are quite tenuous to say the least, I thought it's quite an interesting proposition. Attractiveness in a person often results in an easier life, which can cause desensitisation towards the need for many left-wing policies, such as financial aid. Not sure why they are using the term 'Liberals' and at the same time 'left wing'.
