cgksheff
This has nothing to do with labour - it’s just some affected middle class youths without a brain. Ms Hussein knows exactly what she was doing. As mentioned by the earlier poster, it has more to do with her advancement in the eyes of her community than anything else. alchresearch
Ms Hussein knows exactly what she was doing. As mentioned by the earlier poster, it has more to do with her advancement in the eyes of her community than anything else. Wasn't something similar done at a university halls of residence with a name linked to slavery? As well as this one: 'Horrified' students in slavery row demand Liverpool Uni change name of halls Alisha Raithatha, Tinaye Mapako and Tor Smith call for the name of Liverpool-born ex-PM William Gladstone to be removed https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/horrified-students-slavery-row-demand-13905776 There are also reports of Bristol students demanding concert halls and halls of residence to be renamed. Sadly its nothing new. This from 2006: A councillor's attempt to change the names of streets in Liverpool linked to the slave trade has been dropped. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/5163140.stm What's with this obsession with airbrushing our past if its less than squeaky clean? Its what they do best, in the 80s and 90s she'd have been big in Socialist worker or Militant ---------- Post added 01-02-2018 at 10:23 ---------- I've had another think about the thread title and after watching the video again I'm happy that it remains as Black Lives Matter for the simple reason that they are reciting BLM mantras about being slaves in chains. I'll ignore the fact that they are middle class well educated kids from comfortable homes enjoying the freedoms that a centrist capitalist system brings, and not slaves. But if enough posters want a compromise title of Corbyn's Labour Supporter's Black Lives Matter protest Churchill theme cafe then please say so and I will ask the moderators to change it. That should make everyone happy. yeah cos being against slavery and racism instantly means you are part of the black lives matter group Theyve got just as much of a chance of being Antifa if not more chance
ENG601PM
yeah cos being against slavery and racism instantly means you are part of the black lives matter group Theyve got just as much of a chance of being Antifa if not more chance By now it should be crystal clear that I'm also against slavery and racism Mel. Your statement is ridiculous. BLM and Antifa are on the same team and share players. Have you seen the Berkeley riots? If you want BLM dissecting I'll be happy to do that but you probably won't like how it challenges your assumptions.

As for racism we could all have a whip round and send them to India, Lebanon, Bahrain, Libya, Egypt, Philippines, Kuwait and Palestine. I wont hold my breath though. ENG601PM
thats not what i said, again youre making things up, i "never" said you was, but you embellished the truth by your title, purely because racism and slavery was mentioned What you did there was to miss the word "also" and let the innate meaning go a million miles over your head. I can't be held responsible if you say silly things and then miss the point of responses when you are pulled up about it.
