Ecclesall CE Junior School - Ringinglow Road

In September 2018, the children and staff from Ecclesall CE Junior School will transfer to Ecclesall Primary School which is currently being built as an expansion to the Infant School on High Storrs Road.

 

To mark this significant occasion, Ecclesall Parents’ Teachers’ Friends’ Association (EPTFA) are looking to collate memories of Ecclesall CE Junior School from former pupils and staff. Ecclesall National School, as it was originally known, was founded 184 years ago in 1834. Before Ecclesall County Infant School (now Ecclesall Infant School) opened in 1952, both Infant and Junior school aged children were taught at the Junior School site.

We are putting together a display about the history of the school for the EPTFA Summer Fete which will be held the Junior School on Saturday 14th July 2018 and may also produce a commemorative magazine.

 

The EJS school building will continue as a school accommodating Clifford All Saints Primary School - an expansion of Clifford Church of England Infant School on Psalter Lane which will operate from two sites.
