Is it wrong to pay a woman less if she does a similar job to a man?.

On to your question.

Assuming the assembly work is piece rate, then no, they shouldn't be paid the same.

piecework went out with the ark and most companies just have a hourly rate, should they be paid the same or vice versa.

but maybe women and black folks dont get the same opportunities to show theyre good enough?

Surely in most cases they get held back?

Maybe they dont get "allowed"?

How do you show youre good enough if you arent allowed to?

There's a lot of maybes in that post with no proof.

Tell you what, post the contract details of the job and we can discuss it further. Performance pay etc.

Well the assembly jobs are similar and you say they shouldn't be paid the same.

They are similar jobs but you said pay them differently, can you make your mind up.what's pulling teeth like do you get the same pay as a female dentist?

Reading comprehension, it's a real thing you know.

If they do exactly the same job should be paid the same, answer me this if you have a man and a woman doing the same assembly work, the man does 60 per hour and the woman does 50,should they be paid the same?

I said pay them differently if it was piece rate, but hey it's your imaginary job, so I guess anything goes.
