Sheffield to look like drunken football hooligans at 3pm today

More like bookies; charity shops & empty sbops full of photos in the windows; the photos ironically showing how bustling Sheffield used to be with a large variety of shops.

Try visiting Barnsley ,completely different .

:hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi: Really? Think you need to take a closer look around your Town. Take the rose tinted glasses off this time.

You have blades fans and leeds fans finishing their game at 2pm

So they make their way into sheffield to drink and sing vulgar songs

And then at 3pm we get Wednesday fans arriving from Barnsley, probably also drunk

What will visitors think?

We are a city of culture and yet 3 sets of football fans will decend into the centre and cause chaos.

Hardly a good representation of a bustling, welcoming, thriving city of culture

Now, now then Mr Rogets, get back to the footy section and stop winding up these nice people....:hihi::hihi::hihi:

University's finest minds don't make me laugh, outside the university they made 2 pedestrian crossing, causing more trouble in an already terrible area for traffic, holding up ambulances to the 5 hospitals in the area, because these great minds come out and walk 6 abreast causing the possibility of these extremely intelligent people to step of the pavement and be hit by a car, so now they have 2 crossings in a 75 gap and what do these super brains STILL do?

They cross the road between the crossings causing cars to brake abruptly and without doubt multiple accidents if not yet, very soon.

The poor observational skills of people on foot seems to be matched by those in charge of vehicles.

There are three crossings now as there was before.

Jumping the red lights as cars cross Glossop Road is regular.

Illegal left turns across the pedestrian crossing Glossop Road are common.

Illegal left and right turns from Glossop Road inbound onto Hanover Way are frequent.

I did see a Mercedes take a right-turn from Glossop Road inbound onto Upper Hanover Street, but it technically wasn’t illegal because Mercedes drivers own the road.

Ventured up to Woodseats for a snifter about 4pm. Pubs were full with people after the matches, and others out watching the six nations. Great to see. No trouble at all. But obviously in Woodseats the violence starts a bit later, with usually some form of fighting at about 1am. Driving through can be hazardous.
