Hi

Just sitting in the garden chatting with my mother-in-law, discussing family ancestry when googling came across this topic.

My MIL’s maiden is Gillian Rippon and is the daughter of Gladys C ( Constance) Rippon.

She remembers all the siblings’ names  and her recollections of Joseph Rippon is that he was adopted by the Lee family in Mosborough.
She does not remember any of his wives names but remembers a daughter Patrica-Anne and could be either surname Rippon or Lee.

Hi Jay

Just seen this, ive not logged into here for years as I am always on facebook now. I have also seen a message response to me from the lady I am looking for on another thread and I am hoping to make contact with her. Your above post was entirely correct, I am really grateful for your post.
