Naive
I imagine the ones that are mentioned in the article (transgendered women). I make a point of never interacting with the Sun in any way at all, so I didn’t click the link. Having a card for a subset of mothers is hardly appeasing a minority though. It looks more like a business spotting an opportunity to make some cash.
tzijlstra
How bizarre for waitrose to bring out the new "Happy You " day instead of the traditional "Happy Mothers day" in a bid to be trendy and gender neutral another ridiculous trend to appease the minorities:roll: https://www.thesun.co.uk/fabulous/5777644/mothers-day-card-gender-neutral-waitrose Someone very close to me lost their mother and daughter. Frankly, go up a tree with your nonsense and non-PC bullhorn.
WalkleyIan
Mothering Sunday ...today... a traditional Christian holiday, 3 weeks before Easter Sunday. It marks the time when people returned to their "mother church", a local church or the one where they were baptised. It was only later linked to Mothers Day..a totally different celebration Mothers Day, second Sunday in May. A heavily commercialised American idea to sell cards and gifts that was opposed by its own creator.
