newcomer01
Lets face it .He was a player for a long time and I daresay that the compliments passed between him and strikers during a match were far worse than this.So I really fail to understand such a reaction.Just imagine how much stick he will take now .That will affect him more than any fine or even loosing his job.No matter. What the hell possessed him to react like that ,after all he`s a grown man ,and spitting . francypants
What a grovelling apology he's made..... only thinking about himself and what he could now lose. He's a disgusting person.
parkydave
It was light hearted banter and that was all he should be ashamed of himself but this spitting is common place for a footballer , you don't see an athlete finishing the 100 yards race spitting all over the place , so maybe he should be excused because it was a natural thing to do for him .Think he will be done with sky Edited March 12, 2018 by parkydave
taxman
Also...a number of people on this thread have called the father a Man Utd fan.....any evidence of this, seeing as he is obviously a scouser himself and scousers supporting Man U are as rare as rocking horse poo. Guest makapaka
The car driver was quite clearly taunting him, even to the extent that that he's being told by his daughter not to do it. He then quite clearly revels in it. "Nice, very nice Jamie Carragher" before finally responding to his daughter, who again tells him to stop being such a dick. There's no way Carragher should have done what he did but the father was a pillock as well. No doubt the ££££s flashed in front of his eyes when he got home and immediately starting contacting media outlets. Totally agree with all of this. Disappointed in carragher but it shouldn’t define him as a person. Shame really.

ukdobby
If memory serves Keys and Grey were sacked for some apparently sexist comments. Sexism, racism and many other ism's are deemed far more serious than driving around like a lunatic thug gobbing at passing cars. Im pretty sure the dullard will be back on sky tv soon enough. And they moved on to massive wages in the middle east, there's no scruples in football. ---------- Post added 13-03-2018 at 06:14 ---------- He's apologised because he got caught on camera that's all. Ms Macbeth
Anyone in the public eye, like a highly paid broadcaster, should be capable of maintaining a level of decent behaviour regardless of comments. It's good that it was caught on camera. Carragher should have wound his window up and ignored anything that was said.
