Obviously some folk stay hooked for life though? For me, it's the attraction of having a camera tripod that will extend up to 400ft, and can photograph straight down. I've started shooting some video footage, but without some kind of purpose for the footage, it's hard to do anything but copy other shots. I've not come across one that doesn't use rechargeable batteries. Flight time depends on the model of drone. My Mavic 2 Pro has a stated flight time of 31 minutes, however realistically I'd be back on the ground at around 27 minutes. Mine typically last in the region of 15 mins and yes they're rechargeable. I've got several batteries for one of them, so I can swap out and carry on playing.
