Calahonda
Long gone are the powers of the likes of John Lewis, who’s idea of compliance with the illegality of Retail Price Maintenance was to put pressure on suppliers to ignore orders from retailers who tried to undercut JL’s ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’ pledge. There are far too many household name retailers, who refuse to take their heads out of the sand, the times they are a-changing.

crookesey
John Lewis left the Sheffield ‘High Street’ donkey’s years ago, and couldn’t hack it in the back whacks. It’s former home is likely to be converted into a multi store/cafe store, so much for the actual ‘High Street’, Sheffield City Centre died a commercial death years ago, why key hammering more nails into it’s coffin? They shut down that tribute to unfettered capitalism, the city centre AKA The Moor, years ago. They decided to let it decline, when they block it off with that monstrous prison like government office.when they invested the $millions in a "supertram", to send folks to Attercliffe to a real "Shopping Center" known as Meadowhall, still a source of "Award Winning" pride to the great unwashed.
