Pensioner, 78, arrested on suspicion of murder after suspected burglar

Recommended Posts

The guy who owns the fence they're sticking them to has said he's not happy and doesn't want them on there. Yet they continue to do this, which surely must be a breach of the police.

Yet the police do nothing.

"It's a civil matter Sir." will be trotted out I bet if he asks....

The selfish thing. Dose he not realise these people are grieving?

Sadly they'll have the fella who's ripping them down bang to rights with some sort of criminal damage charge.

The question is, will they have the guts, knowing the backlash that's simmering?

I've seen posts on some groups that they're going to interrupt and cause hassle to the funeral procession for the burglar. Whether its just big man internet talk or there's any credibility in it I can't say.

If the camera's are watching (which I imagine they are) I bet they'd either escort him away or not even let him near the fence.

They don't want to be on TV arresting the guy, that would just throw more fuel on the fire and make it seem like they were siding with the dead burglars family.

Still, I bet Intaflora are doing a roaring trade at the moment :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

Mourners of Henry Vincent 'not to be intimidated,' says Met

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-43736227

Yet the erection of the flowers directly opposite the house where it happened isn't intimidation?

And whoever heard of a traveller being intimidated?

He also claims it all a "strain on police resources". Ok, then don't have four horseback policemen on patrol then. I'm no Einstein but even I can work out that two foot coppers is cheaper than four police horses and their entourage.

Virtue signalling at it's finest all this.

Watching the paparazzi fighting each other while a bloke stamps on flowers was cringeworthy at best.

No one is right really are they? Sad and depressing story.

In which case they can easily grieve at home.

This flowers crap was never an issue until the mid 90's then it's the fashionable thing to just dump them everywhere. It's trite, it's in the face of the guy who was burgled and his neighbours and it's just a passive aggressive act to remind the occupants of the house that we are not going away and we are coming for you.

For removing rubbish attached to the owners fence?

No chance.
