blake
Christians are definitely persecuted in every Middle East country. Israel has the best record and Christian Arabs actually do well there They have a small family size, higher educational attainment and higher incomes than average. They do better than most Jewish groups, in fact. But even in Israel they get some grief sometimes at the hands of both Muslim Arabs and nutcase extremist Jews. Israeli Christians definitely fare a lot better than Christians in the West Bank and Gaza though. In the 1970s quite a lot of Palestinian terrorists were Christian. That was when they were secular and often Marxist. Now that Palestinian terrorism is primarily Islamist, hardly any of them are Christian these days.
