mickey finn
So it seems like a bit of scrote infighting and no doubt the police know exactly who is involved. Pity they are too busy arresting tree protestors for blowing plastic trumpets rather than arresting machine gun toting lowlifes. What a terrible post
nightrider
What a terrible post why? Taxman is pointing out that perhaps priorities are not the best. Thats not to say that reprioritising is a panacea of course.
lectrolove
Would anyone care to comment on what this area is generally like? Is an incident like this likely to be a one-off? A relative is house hunting and a place on Bransby Street has caught his eye, after reading this thread I'm debating whether to tell him not to bother. It does seem like a lot of house for the money and there might be a reason for that.

Who would you rather meet on the streets? Gunman or a pensioner with a vouvouzela?
FinBak
Agreed. Who would you rather meet on the streets? Gunman or a pensioner with a vouvouzela? I apologise.... My sense of humour has taken over. I can't stop laughing....! 'A pensioner with a Vouvouzela'...? Vuvuzela you mean.. Now come on...That's not an everyday word is it..! I love this stuff..! (Yes i know what a Vuvuzela is;) ) Edited April 24, 2018 by FinBak
myview
Its more than likely a case of scum trying to murder fellow scum in a targeted attack and the bullets hit two houses by mistake rather than just the one they were aiming at. Might be reassuring to de-humanise the victims and perpetrators of these types of offences but it does little to solve the problem. Referring to people as 'scum' really doesn't help. Yes we need to pursue and catch and convict but we also need to protect and prevent. I'm not sure we do that by pretending that these people aren't people.
