Cut flowers..fragrance

Recommended Posts

Has the fragrance been bred out of cut flowers.

Freesias used to have a lovely fragrance which seems to be absent nowadays.

None of the roses on sale seem to have a strong scent.

I do grow my own Sweet Peas and Stocks ,but shop bought flowers are disappointing.

You can pay more for the non-factory farmed/mass produced produce to get the flavours you want, but it's not uncommon for a lot of people to expect something for nothing.

You need only look at other threads on SF, where can I buy the cheapest of this and that.
