I actually agree with a lot of Jonny5’s post as it happens, apart from the dig at the end (presumably targeted at me) which he/she couldn’t resist because they seem to have had a personal issue with me for quite some time. There are plenty of middle aged men of all ethnicities that get disproportionately upset on QT & other programs. Why settle on a term that excludes them if there isn't a racial connotation? My main problem is that name calling solves nothing and these poor saps need help & understanding NOT disdain. All that said it's certainly ironic to see a certain poster getting ever more irate trying to shout down anyone that dares to disagree with him. I think everybody needs to use patience with him and not resort to.losing our tempers and name calling. I'll hold my hand up & take responsibility for that. area 51 Posted May 20, 2018 Share Posted May 20, 2018 This is why I gave up on politics and stopped voting,i was brought up has a socialist but in recent years I have become embarrassed about the childlike behaviour of some socialists.I no doubt presume some of the right wingers do it as well but it more often than not comes from the left and they often resort to name calling if they are losing the argument.Glad I have back heeled politics.Brexit seems to have brought out the worst in some people.
