For all 70s music fans ,on Friday the 5th oct the Glammed are playing at the Stockbridge legionnaires club plus top 70s DJ filling in between non members welcome no entrance fee,doors open at 7 till late,rock on tommy.

For even suggesting the latter: who do you think you are?

 

I'd revisit Stray – particularly for their eponymous debut album (and for the times I saw them live).

Another great band, sadly now split up, were Pink Floyd formed in the sixties but really came alive in the seventies with the wall album and later a film.

 

david gilmour is still performing, well he was a couple of years ago.

check out their sound system on you tube massive is an understatement ,effectively a separate pa system for each instrument, the loudest band in the world.

Don't know how I've managed not to hear them before now, but heard Rare Earth yesterday for the first time ,one of the few rock bands to sign for the Motown label ,well worth checking out.
