Oh, really enjoyed watching the game too. Nice to see skills on display, rather than a never ending series of fouls and dirty tricks,

Nice to see skills on display, rather than a never ending series of fouls and dirty tricks, England looked really good, they could have easily doubled the score, but who's counting? Yes it is good to see a well played, clean game as those are few and far between these days.
iansheff
Made a nice change not seeing players being wrestled to the ground in the penalty area at corners.
tinfoilhat
It was really good display, far exceeding what I thought we'd do. Pickford was excellent, the back 3 was good, sterling was keepers' fingertip from getting it all together. His first touch was great - two years ago that would have pinged off his knee and ended up in the stands. Normally I'd say drop him, but it's coming. blake
whatever happens from now on here England have achieved a lot even if they lose 7-0 in their next match. That won't happen. But even if it does, they've got to the last four of the World Cup and cemented their record for being one of the very best ever performing teams in it. Brazil and Germany, Italy, Argentina, the Netherlands and Spain would love to be there in the World Cup last 4. Well hard lines you lot - you weren't good enough and England were.
