alchresearch
Although she was staunchly against it when Labour were in power??? And even three months ago. Ms Abbott said Labour would not legalise cannabis for medicinal or recreational use ahead of the next general election. https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/political-parties/labour-party/jeremy-corbyn/news/93234/excl-diane-abbott-labour-would-crack This cannabis oil story isn't new, it was covered on This Morning a few months ago. Its just that the latest story has involved a kid so she's jumped on it. March: This Morning fans call for cannabis to be legalised after woman claims it cured her cancer http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/this-morning/news/a852149/this-morning-reactions-cannabis-legalised/ Although Abbot missed this one: 20 March 2018 Alfie Dingley's medical cannabis petition handed to government A six-year-old boy with epilepsy has presented a petition to No 10 calling for him to be granted a special licence to use medical cannabis. Alfie Dingley has a very rare form of the illness that causes up to 150 seizures per month. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-43459220 and: Alfie Dingley: Home Office considers medical cannabis trial https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-43236649 Edited June 20, 2018 by alchresearch
geared
I have also watched what happened in the more comparable countries of Switzerland and the Netherlands and I am still waiting to see a proposed model that is agreed on by the all parties who propose change. Has it also not been de-criminalised in Portugal and in Barcelona? Also a South-American country, was it Uruguay??
Annie Bynnol
The "other set of regulations" being legalisation. New Regulations which defines the Canadian version of the control of the use of cannabis for 'recreational purposes'. 'Legalization' is the procedure of removing legal prohibition. The Canadians are changing the some of the current Federal legal prohibitions and introducing new legal prohibitions for example: Age +18 Quantity 30 mg Point of purchase- licensed Production -at home 4 plants/licensed factories Each Province will/can decide how far and when they want to go. geared
Age +18 Quantity 30 mg Point of purchase- licensed Production -at home 4 plants/licensed factories 30 grams not milligrams Roughly an ounce in old money. What the public would generally call legalisation. Pretty similar to alcohol legislation really.
Cyclone
Absolutely, nobody would claim that alcohol isn't legal, but in reality it's sale is restricted, making spirits at home is illegal, you can't buy it if you're under 18, etc...
WasThatWise
Has Canada got drug driving laws in relation to Cannabis and if so have these changed after legalisation?
apelike
Interesting reveal: A mother campaigning for medical marijuana to be available on the NHS is the director of a company which sells bottles of cannabis oil for more than £500. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/06/19/billy-caldwells-mother-director-cannabis-oil-company-helps-fund/ I notice that her site is now down for maintenance. You can buy a 30ml bottle of 3% CBD oil for around £40 and also 10ml E-liquid for around £13 from Sensi seeds. ---------- Post added 20-06-2018 at 16:14 ---------- Has Canada got drug driving laws in relation to Cannabis and if so have these changed after legalisation? I wouldn't have thought that drug driving laws (if they have them) would need to be changed.
