Lockdoctor
it's implicit that you do not consider those who voted to remain, to be democratic. this democratic person definitely voted to remain. I am the same as you, I voted to remain. We are both democratic people.
SnailyBoy
I am the same as you, I voted to remain. We are both democratic people. Not this again, no one seriously believes you voted remain. The fact you have to keep stating that you voted remain gives the game away.
L00b
Really?Really. I agree with Dromedary’s core point: the people, Leavers and not, were duped by party political plays, duly validated -constitutionally no less- by votes in the HoC all along. By MPs across the political spectrum. Before the referendum, since the referendum, and still to date. Don’t know about you, but I don’t blame victims. Even when they’re badmouthing my like. They’re the architects of their own misfortune: what’s coming will be punishment enough. Some of them may even cop on they were had. I mean, according to corridors of power noises today, Tory MPs are on about replacing Theresa May with David Davis for tying over the Brexit timeline next March, with a younger replacement to step in in late 2019. I haven’t laughed so hard at anything Brexit-related in months! Edited October 19, 2018 by L00b

hobinfoot
Really? The electorate were warned in no uncertain terms about the damage leaving the EU would do to the economy as well as the difficulty of having an EU/non EU border in Ireland, but they chose to ignore those warnings. Those who voted leave are absolutely to blame for any damage done. How many times have we heard on here that the government had no choice but to go with 'the will of the people'? The electorate were also told that if we voted to leave we would go into recession there would be massive job losses along with other problems almost straight away this hasn't happened. The trouble with predictions is that's what they are just predictions.
