And what did the Stop the War March achieve?

Quote from wiki.

"Ten years on writer Ian Sinclair assembled an oral history of the demonstration. Journalist Ellie Mae O'Hagan, a UK Uncut activist, told Sinclair that despite its size "it did absolutely nothing"

Given that the Iraq War was almost certainly illegal and was largely responsible for many of today's problems in the area, maybe the politicians should listen to the people for a change and not make another disastrous mistake.

They didn't have a referendum about the Iraq War. However, they did listen to the people regarding the UK's membership of the EU and the people told the politicians they wanted to leave the EU on 23rd June 2016.

Oh dear!

Rather a lot of people marching in London today demanding a say in the future of their country! The biggest march in London since the Stop the War March in 2003.

"People's Vote march: 'Hundreds of thousands' attending London protest"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-45925542

Were they hibernating in 2016 and missed their chance to have a say in the future of their country ?

It was just the usual lefty ,socialist militant types who would protest at the opening of a window. No one takes any notice of their socialist rubbish .

I suspect a lot of them couldn't as they were 16/17 at the time.

There were a load of ten year olds who couldnt vote either. Thats just the way it is.

You know as well as everyone else that every credible forecast, including the government's own which they even tried to hide from parliament, say that the UK will be much worse off after leaving the EU.

Maybe you would like to show us an alternative view that doesn't consist of anything more than wishful thinking?
