Car Boot
Are you really complaining that the EU is looking after its 500m citizens versus the UK’s 60m? Really? The EU is wrong to look after its own? Are you high? How is denying an OECD nation's NGOs with the greatest expertise in helping the world's poorest the EU "looking after it's own"? The UK won't suffer due to the EU's Brexit bias in this case - but starving children and the victims of war and disasters might. Remainers simply do not understand the arguments, as clearly demonstrated in the post quoted above.

Car Boot
That is the funniest thing you've ever written, and there's been some doozies. Well done! UK charity's, and the people they aid, will be seriously disrupted by the EU's actions. Its not a question of money. Its a question of which NGOs are the most effective at helping people. The EU no longer wants the most effective. For political reasons. This can only cost lives. That you find this amusing is very informative. Bulls**t klaxon (again) and correction required (again): The EU will no longer be able to fund the (allegedly) most effective. For legal reasons. This can only cost lives.Universal Credit has been costing British lives in the U.K. for months. Esther McVey has recently been caught lying to Parliament outright, about a U.K. charity endorsing UC, when that charity has done no such thing, warning about and condemning UC instead. Can I look forward to reading your outrage? Edited November 8, 2018 by L00b

The average worker will be so well off, they'll be able to fund these charities shortfall surely?
Magilla
This can only cost lives. Oh, *this* can only cost lives... weird, because the RCN has said Brexit will increase the shortage of nurses in UK, affecting patient care and threatening lives. 100 extra deaths per day by 2020 as a result of lack of nurses. You weren't overly bothered about that if I recall?

Can I look forward to reading your outrage? Claire Godfrey, the head of policy and campaigns at Bond, the UK network that represents 400 international development NGOs, said: “We are very concerned that the European commission has misunderstood the eligibility criteria for UK NGOs to access funding from the EU in the event of a Brexit no-deal scenario. “There is a real danger that UK NGOs will be both discouraged from applying and be discriminated against during the process, if the proper criteria are not used. Ultimately, it will be the people who benefit from UK NGOs humanitarian response who will bear the brunt of this if UK NGOs’ activities are diminished.” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/jul/01/brexit-eu-accused-of-making-false-aid-funding-claims The EU needs to stop playing politics with peoples lives! ---------- Post added 08-11-2018 at 12:01 ---------- Bulls**t klaxon (again) and correction required (again): The EU will no longer be able to fund the (allegedly) most effective.
