Raab resigns over deal terms.

Hold on to your seats, it's going to get bumpy...........

No surprise, pretty much a repeat of David Davis.

"Brexiteer who was directly responsible for negotiating terms resigns because of the terms they negotiated SHOCKER!"

Easiest deal in history, will take less than an afternoon to complete.... remember?

Like all leave promises, now in the bin.

Different because Davis wouldn't support TMs Chequers idea.

I agree with Raab comment, unless she went over his head.

Both of the Brexit secretaries have resigned because they both know that the proposed withdrawal agreement which Mrs May is supporting would mean the UK would only be leaving the EU in name only. The withdrawal agreement will mean the UK can't leave the Customs Union without the permission of the EU, thus making the UK a prisoner of the EU.

Both of those Brexit secretaries were directly responsible and involved in those withdrawal agreements :?

It's a bit like the Galileo shambles that Davis agree'd to in his role as Brexit Secretary, as per the released agreement at the time (in green), and then claimed the EU were punishing us when the public got wind of it...

LOL, clearly you fell for it :hihi:

.. so, not the easiest deal in history afterall! ;) We didn't hold all the cards :(

We've had 2 years discussing "cake". Presumably we can now all agree, in reality you can't have all of the benefits with none of the responsibililties!

There is no cake and eat it... Who'd have thunk it! :suspect:

Demonstrably false.

Just two weeks after Dominic Raab was appointed as Brexit Secretary back in July, Arch Remainer Theresa May stated ""I will lead the negotiations with the European Union".

Dominic Raab was sidelined almost from the start, and told he would be left in charge of domestic preparations, no-deal planning and legislation.

The real Brexit Secretary is the Remainer Oliver Robbins, the wealthy and out of touch Oxbridge educated Permanent Secretary for the Department for Exiting the European Union.

With Remainers in charge of the negotiations, who wouldn't have guessed that this would turn into a shambles?

Ahh, Raab wasn't involved at all. LOL, pull the other one...... No excuse for Davis? :(

So, in effect, the adult in the room.

Clearly, Raab was never up to the job in the first place.

Count yourself lucky, given Brexiteers past performance and promises that now lie in the bin, it could have been much worse ;)
