There has never been any intention by the capitalist establishment to carry out the democratic result of the June 2016 People's Vote. The bankers, and the politicians in their deep pockets, will never allow it.

What we have seen is a carefully rehearsed charade.

I'd love to know what crank conspiracy websites you frequent.

You do come out with real some crackers now and again. :hihi:

The will of the People counts for nothing against the will of the bankers.

The will of the people is not economic ruin less rights the EU has given people rights that the UK Parliament would have never have given you. The EU will get stronger with or without the UK were no match for 27 united nations.

An example of a good thing the eu has delivered. But it's also an example of the lack of democracy. Imposing will over a national government is one of the biggest issues. It's all well and good while it's nice things. What would happen if the eu swings to the right, and unpalatable laws start being passed?

Vote for the party who has the policies you want,  if a majority here want them, they will win and be implemented. Don't expect some third party organisation do it.

bankers are people too

Liked :D

If people were more familiar with history, and particularly Goebbels’ propaganda (ever heard or read the expression “der Wille der Menschen”? Germany, circa 1936), they’d be a tad more circumspect about “will of the people” -ing this and “will of the people”-ing that.

It’s a reducive, divisive and meaningless sloganeering meme. In the wrong hands, clearly a dangerous one, too.

there is plenty of democracy, laws just don't appear from the EU. there is a whole process which involves the elected european parliament and the council of ministers (made up of elected ministers) and the individual countries governments have a great deal of control over just how the the directives are written into the national law.
