Clearly it isn’t.

in other news our galant leaders have secured the services of a ferry company in the event of a no deal brexit. So far so good but the government has just coughed up £14m  to a ferry company with no ships, have never shipped a single truck across the channel and who plan on using a very limited port.

sovereignty ladies and gents. Breathe it in.

Perhaps we could give instant citizenship to any Iranian boat people who bring essential supplies with them.

The Iranian boat people is just another element in this whole thing.

No coincidence that fears of an influx of Middle Eastern boat people is being ramped up now.

Ladies and gents, that is information warfare.

the linked article goes into the situation a bit more and it seems the company is trying to resurect an old route which closed a few years ago. I've no idea how long it takes to set these things up but I guess you can't just turn up with a ship on a monday morning and start running a ferry route.

it looks like they started a couple of years ago, maybe they saw this coming.....

But it’s a major incident!

Javid has declared it as such and has jetted home to possibly re deploy some of our fleet of cutters.

Some more ammunition for the guns of the “ship them all back where they came from brigade.”

The numbers are tiny but make useful headlines.

The government has given £14million of taxpayers money to a company to run extra ferries in the event of a No Deal Brexit....unfortunately the company appears to a shell with no assets and no ships.  When asked the CEO of the mysterios brand new company with no assets declined to give details on which ships it planned to use for the service, saying the information was "commercially sensitive".

Sounds like money siphoned off to chums rather than proper established freight companies.

Its time we deployed Gun Boats to solve this problem.

Which is EXACTLY what should happen to them. Sends out the message that they will not be allowed to enter the UK if they try.

What she means is we have a no deal, then sign straight back up to practically all of the 750+ agreements that underpin the current relationship.

We dont have to sign up again as we have not yet left but that also could depend on what those 750+ agreements are that you are talking about. If you are talking about EU laws then it has already been decided what will happen with the so called great repeal act which will transfer most of the EU laws that took precedence over UK law back into UK law amended or otherwise by parliament.
