Turner R Posted June 2, 2016 Share Posted June 2, 2016 Yes. I remember Claytons Clothiers. My Dad Cyril Turner worked for Albert Clayton. First after the war in their shop around 1946. Then later as a collector salesman in the Retford area. Claytons started a catalog, before Grattons ever happened. They also launched a credit idea called Shopacheck. I remember their depot was just off the Moor. I have no idea what happened to the business, but it was still going in the late 70's. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
