Does the Hillsborough tram gate restrictions applyon Sunday

Recommended Posts

Simple answer: NO.

Complex answer: Monday to Saturday 7am until 11am and then 3pm until 7pm are the hours in operation. Remember Bank Holiday Mondays/Good Friday etc. all fall within the normal Monday to Saturday operational times...

Don't expect the council to show useful information like that

Despite the times having remained unchanged for perhaps 10 years now the signs still say these are "new times" so not sure what they will say if they change the hours

Yes they do. If you are traveling along Holme Lane towards Hillsborough Corner you can't turn right onto Middlewood Road. Trust me i've had a fine for doing so!!!

The sign you will probably never see if driving on high "pedestrians ahead" alert (that's high alert not high pedestrians ahead... ,but then again...

If you can’t simultaneously read road signs and avoid killing pedestrians, you should think about handing your license in and consider getting a taxi

From Holme lane it is a restricted right turn at all times.

From Middlewood to Langsett or vice versa it is only restricted at certain times and not on Sunday.

^^^ What he said. The Holme Lane to Langsett Road restriction isn't a tram gate, it's a 'no right turn unless you can use a bus and tram lane' which operates 24/7.
