princess_rockchick
I know what you mean........ It does get very annoying, especially when you are standing at the bar and have to wait ages because people are pushing you all the time.
disc0tech
Yeah definetely. So many times I've wanted to meet a group of friends and actually be able to talk to more than the people sat on either side of me.... it's just impossible in the town centre or Ecclesall Road. I'm not much of a fan of suburban pubs, plus my friends live all over, so saying 'Hey, let's all meet up in Crookes / Nether Edge / Fulwood / <insert suburb of choice>' is not really practical. Somebody....build more pubs!!
AndrewC
I went to many a crowded west street bar last nite. Cavendish is often ridiculous on a weekend nite.
dinp
go to corp, cheap, cheerful and no queues for the bar! (check beforehand what music is on or you could be in for a shock)
RPG
I wouldnt say the corporation is classed as a non busy place RSPV is always fairly quiet when I go in, nice atmosphere too (and they sell Hoegaarden, which is a rarity)

Cyclone
you can find the yorkshire gray or the roebuck to be quiet on a friday/saturday sometimes. It seems to be pot luck, other times they will be packed. It's normally possible to get on the pool table within 20 mins though, on a Friday it's rare enough to be even able to play!
