carosio
She's lucky not to have been seriously injured when hitting the water from that height, unless she made a perfect dive.
jaffa1
To be fair, they couldn't have lived very far away if it only cost a fiver to get a whole family home! To me £5.000 reads five thousand.
davyboy
should have been written £5,000 . ---------- Post added 24-08-2018 at 20:50 ---------- £5.00 is five pounds. In Britain the decimal point is (or should) be written above the line

It means 'think/believe/opine', not 'have proved'.
Dude111
I’m wondering if they can claim their money back from the cruise line operators? Well they could say she was being careless being enar the edge of the boat, people will do anything to get out of being held accountable..... blake
no they won't even give them a voucher for another cruise next year. They don't want boozer wasters like her and hey boyfriend coming back for more. Cruise lines primarily want well-behaved families these days, not wasters like them. Top Cats Hat
Well they could say she was being careless being enar the edge of the boat, people will do anything to get out of being held accountable..... If this got anywhere near a court the ferry company would have to prove that they had taken 'all reasonable steps' to prevent the accident, the key word being reasonable. Unless you lock every passenger in a cell for the entire trip, a determined person will always be able to harm themselves if they really want to.
