NSIDC on July 18th said:

"Arctic sea ice extent continued its summer decline. Extent is below average but not as low as in recent summers. In the Antarctic, sea ice extent is currently at record low levels for this time of year."

Below is graphic you should have used: NSIDC

It shows the reduction in Sea Ice extent in the Arctic Spring between 1981/2010(grey) and  and and the present day.

The coloured lines cover the last 5 years. The dashed line the record year of 2012.

"The graph (below) shows Arctic sea ice extent as of July 17, 2022, along with daily ice extent data for four previous years and the record low year. 2022 is shown in blue, 2021 in green, 2020 in orange, 2019 in brown, 2018 in magenta, and 2012 in dashed brown. The 1981 to 2010 median is in dark gray. The gray areas around the median line show the interquartile and interdecile ranges of the data."

I have no problem with any satellite sourced DSIDC  chart, including the one above.

These are the most reliable observations we have.

Good ol Donald Trump. Saying it like it is?

The actual warming is not a hoax.

The Earth's climate is gradually warming. According to the latest from NOAA it has warmed from -0.48 dgrees to +0.06 degrees.

A total of +0.54 degrees over the 43 year NOAA satellite record.

At this rate over 43 years,

(0.013953 per year)

by 2050 it would be 0.013953 degrees warmer than today.

by 2100 it would be 1.088372 degrees warmer than today.

"Catastrophic"?

Depends on who you listen to.

There is actually a net cooling since 1916 to 2022, in spite of a yearly increase in Global C02 levels.

Will it continue?

Depends on who you listen to!

Totally agree that the warming is real but like convid it's been weaponised for financial gain.

The NOAA does not appear to agree:

https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/climate-change-global-temperature

Earth’s temperature has risen by 0.14° Fahrenheit (0.08° Celsius) per decade since 1880, but the rate of warming since 1981 is more than twice that: 0.32° F (0.18° C) per decade.

That increase is not linear!

Clearly, nope! :?

Currently that rate of change isn't linear, it's increasing.

As per link above, clearly nonsense.

Even a linear increase as per the data from the NOAA shows a signifcantly higher increase. Currently that rate of change isn't linear, it's increasing.

As per link above, clearly nonsense.

Get up to date!

Climate.gov

"Highlights from Assessing the global climate in June 2022
Globally, June 2022 was the sixth-warmest June in the 143-year NOAA record. The year-to-date (January-June) global surface temperature was also the sixth warmest on (143 year) record".

And.

They didn't have a satellite record, back in 1880, so their "average" against which the data is plotted goes back to 1880.

How reliable are global temperatures from 1880, when large swaths of the Earth were not explored, not even the North and South Poles? ;)

But I'm happy to leave you with your opinions on the matter.

Have a nice day!  :)

They are not.

Sea Ice extent in the Arctic significantly exaggerates the impact of 'global warming' and this kind of data is loved by the what you called 'climate activists'.

Satellites can accurately directly measure some feature like ice extent, and some of the variables that cause it like surface wind, surface current and temperature and several others continuously over time. Weather forecasters need data on the layers of the atmosphere and Climatologists need data throughout the oceans, satellites cannot directly measure these variables and are usually calibrated by other specialized instruments.

Yeah... as usual, you got it wrong!

Failed to understand the data, and came to conclusions that bear no relation to reality!

There has not been a "net cooling since 1916 to 2022"! :?

When you can come up with better technology than satellites, let me know.

Politicians? farmers? fishermen? and their tall tales?  :)
