As sea temperature rises were measured before 1986 and the poor condition of the animals cover and variety noted then the comparison is not between a healthy reef and now it is between an unhealthy reef and now.

 

 

If you could be bothered even to read the summary of the report by the godlike beings called  "the scientists"  that you rely on for your evidence, it does not say or imply "...that the Great Barrier Reef is now in great shape...". A summary says that the northern and central parts of the UNESCO world heritage-listed reef have experienced some recovery while the southern region has seen a loss of coral cover due to crown-of-thorns starfish outbreaks

You claim that AIMS scientists provide the evidence have "...that the Great Barrier Reef is now in great shape...". A False claim.

Then you claim the same AIMS scientists "...take from whoever is offering the most (money)and find the results they want."

 

So, logically, how much did it cost you to get them to give you 'the results' you wanted?

I would say that antivaxers are also likely to be anti-climate change, as their minds have a anti-establishment bias.

One period of hot weather is obviously not caused by climate change, but if that change in weather is widespread and long lasting, it becomes a climate issue.

We see numerous reports of forrest firsts etc in the media, what would it take for skeptics to change their minds?

I think piers enjoys being at the forefront of the anti establishment movement too, he has power (strangely im sure thats a reason why), not sure he makes money from it, im sure he does, there was that dodgy video of him taking a bung a while back lol
