We need America and China to change first, if they carry on regardless then all our efforts are basically just pis*ing in the wind.

It doesn't mean we shouldn't try though, someone needs to set a good example for others to follow.

China isn't doing too badly according to this: https://www.climate-change-performance-index.org/

Also on a wider level we desperately need a generation who question what they are being told by their elders and betters. This applies to all issues, not just climate change.

If they could start by questioning the rubbish they read on social media that would be a good start.

Unfortunately there are far too many people who will take something as gospel just because their idiot mate reposted it.

I applaud the children who are walking out of school 100%. Many of the older generation are too lazy, stupid or selfish to do anything about the way we're headed. Children are the future.

I am more concerned about clearly pushy parents thrusting their own views on their children.

Yeah, clearly a much greater concern than the fate of the entire human race.

Lefty indoctrination.

Yes.

Much better to have a generation of kids growing up to be seen but not heard, knowing their place, tugging their forelocks at the rich and powerful and being spoonfed a diet of facebook fake news and celebrity reality shows and never questioning anything. 🙄

Climate change is real and it's happening now. Try saying 'lefty indoctrination' when your house is under six feet of water, or when it's burning down, or when your neighbour is trying to kill you for your bottled water and see how much good that'll do you, you clown.

So looks like climate change will be sorted now.  So all these children have decided not to turn up to school this has caused all the major polluters to suddenly change their policies and reduce climate change.

See we dont have to worry about it now.  All sorted

I don't need to. All the evidence is there, it's that some people are so pig ignorant, selfish and stupid they choose not to believe it.

Trump's one, you're another.

Some are so ignorant they will believe anything , until it gets so cold and they have to put a coat on.
