Extrabold
Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People is a fierce political, moral and psychological drama with a cutting satirical edge. Written in 1882 and regularly produced ever since, it has great relevance in today’s era of fake news, post-truth and project fear - brought to the fore in our modern-day adaptation by Joe Otten. Conflicts between private interests and public duty, and between truth and power are played out at great cost to personal relationships. 7.30pm (doors 7pm) University Drama Studio, 19-22 September 2018 Shearwood Rd/Glossop Rd S10 2TD http://www.midlandplayers.co.uk/next-show https://www.facebook.com/events/274183540062208/
