Bob Arctor
Apparently it was a fight between a Slovak/Roma pupil and a Somali pupil in the canteen and then phone calls were made that lead to mobs descending on the school. I also heard that a teacher has been injured with a knife but can’t verify if it is true or not. Superintendent Shelley Hemsley said: “The school acted quickly and efficiently in dealing with the initial incident and then calling us. “I’d also like to make it absolutely clear that we have had no reports of weapons being seen or involved in the incident and reports of only one person suffering a very minor injury. Perhaps you can explain why your rumour-mongering is helpful? The same goes for everyone who had a quick ride on the bandwagon to bash whichever ethnic group they don't like. Clearly it was an unpleasant incident but since some of the key 'details' are now being dismissed as untrue, there is no point in speculating on what may or may not have happened. I notice that The Star, the shame of Sheffield, are now terming it a 'RIOT' on their cack website, but the only people who termed it a riot in the first place were the Sheffield Star. Still, it doubtless got a good amount of traffic to the page where they had sold advertising space and they can now go to their clients and say 'look how many hits that page got' and make some good money out of it, so that's the main thing. darylslinn
A report from inside... it started in the canteen/cafeteria knives and forks being used as weapons. A teacher pulled to the ground and kicked. Kids trying to get into the kitchen area. Minor injuries with some blood shed. Lot's of frightened children who weren't involved and frightened staff too. Parents trying to scale the perimeter fence with baseball bats and sticks too. This is a true first hand account of what happened and what is not being reported by the press as well as being played down by any officials in what is fast becoming a powder keg area of Sheffield. So, what you're saying is that if they had been feeding kids burger and pizza there wouldn't be any knives and forks needed so no weapons would have been available. I blame Jamie Oliver. Bob Arctor
Who didn't? I think he means the people who have to remain in work to be able to claim any help towards their housing costs and therefore stay in the UK. Because he is ignorant.
