stifflersmom
Shouldn't we all honor principles of justice in our everyday life? I wouldn't want anyone to loose his job because of false allegations. He hasn't lost his job though has he. He is potentially being passed up for promotion because of of these allegations. There is a big difference; added to which his conduct under questioning (the job interview) showed he wasn't fit for the post.
The Moon
How do feel about the death threats and hate mail Mrs Ford has received from people? Hahaha, nice diversion tactic.

That's where I see the problem.
Halibut
Hahaha, nice diversion tactic. On the contrary, it serves to remind people that Mr Kavanaugh an already wealthy and powerful man isn't the victim here.
Top Cats Hat
Alright, he's loosing opportunity for a job due to unproven accusation. That's where I see the problem. Yes, and that provides an opportunity for someone else maybe more suitable and without the same baggage to get the job. Let's not pretend that Trump wants Kavanaugh as the Supreme Court judge simply because he is very conservative. There are plenty of them in the US. He has chosen him because is is 25 years younger than the average Supreme Court member which will protect any crank legislation that Trump pushes through for decades after he has left office. Sierra
Actually as it stands now, Kavanaugh has not been convicted of any crime. That is not the same thing as being innocent. Convicted? They haven't even charged him with anything! Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

How do you know that? You don't - and are just making up your own opinion. Oh hang on it's halibut - another obvious fish....
Top Cats Hat
Convicted? They haven't even charged him with anything! Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Don't discount it! There is no Statute of Limitation for sex offences in the State of Maryland and there are other allegations in the pipeline.

Exactly, due to unfounded accusation he is effectively disqualified from the job. Surely, this isn't fair. It sets up dangerous precedent. Your latter part of the post could be actually a good point for discussion but all of this is kind of overshadowed now.
