Bakery found NOT to have discriminated against a gay couple

Does anyone know why Lee wanted a cake with this slogan on it? It’s very odd - what kind of event would require such a thing? The man is an activist and the case has all the hallmarks of entrapment. Thank goodness justice and common sense has prevailed. Lee and the Equalities bods should be hanging their heads in shame at wasting tax payers’ money.

He is a troublemaker. He could have agreed to have the cake with no slogan and then added the slogan afterwards.

The amount of legals fees both sides have had to pay is outrageous.

The cake shop legal fees were picked up by a Christian charity / lobby group. They will prob get some bad press now

The innocent couple should be claiming all their expenses from the attention seeking bloke who made the false accusation, and who ever sanctioned the trial.

I agree with your sentiment. The troublemaker had nothing to lose while the innocent couple had potentially everything to lose. The taxpayer suffer even more, if the troublemakers backers, have to pay the legal expenses incurred by the backers of the innocent couple.
