hobinfoot
31 minutes ago, PRESLEY said: If the thought is , innocent before guilty, why are people remanded in custardy (locked up) before they go to to trial. there will be answers like, because in certain cases some might be a danger to the public but if they are '' deemed innocent before being proven guilty'' how come they are locked up, bit of a contradiction there surely. Not really the Judge or Magistrate will look at the evidence before any action is taken.

Anna B
Royalty are different. normal rules do not apply. There is one law for us and another for them. In actuallity they are above the law. But by the same token innocent until proven guilty doesn't really apply to them either. Andy has not been found guilty in a court of law, but in the court of public opinion he as guilty as sin. That's the way it works. Get over it.
crookesey
If he could bring forth evidence that proved his innocence, surely he would have done so. My gut feeling is that there is far more to this, perhaps an obscure ambassadorship could be the answer, at least it would get him out of the way whilst the ‘system’ did it’s job. He's finished as far as public life is concerned.

Victoria is going to be watched 24/7, the ‘system’ will ensure that Andrew comes out of this as him being ‘used’, the media know their place where the royals are concerned.
